Holds a GIA G.G. diploma with dual certifications in Diamond and Colored Stone Appraisal from the Gemological Institute of America. Master of Arts from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Arts in Chinese from City University of Hong Kong, with a minor in Creative Media. Exchange student in the Department of Chinese Literature at National Taiwan University. Previously worked as a host for a handicraft television program, a tutor for handicraft courses in primary, secondary schools, and universities, and a judge for design competitions. Occasionally writes poetry and prose, with contributions featured in publications such as "Ming Pao," "Sound & Rhyme Poetry Journal," "Hong Kong Ci Poetry," "Ling Ya," and "Chun Qiu."
