Their unique production process, distinct from other ceramics, imbues each teapot with its own character. Furthermore, the unglazed nature of Zisha teapots transforms the act of "nurturing" them into an engaging experience. This interaction, where the teapot becomes more beautiful with use, is arguably the primary reason for its enduring appeal. Recently, influenced by various factors, a trend of tea appreciation has emerged among young people in Taiwan. Owning a Zisha teapot of excellent clay and craftsmanship has become a desire for many consumers. However, the opaque product information and even counterfeit items prevalent in the Zisha teapot market have long deterred many consumers from making a purchase. Our studio, now approaching its second year, frequently engages with regular customers. They have expressed their confusion regarding the chaotic Zisha market and hoped that our expertise in ceramics could help them select high-quality, practical Zisha teapots. While Zisha teapots are ceramics, they are not our primary area of expertise, so we initially hesitated to address these inquiries directly. After six months of communication and learning, we found common ground in our principles. Before collaborating, we personally acquired and used several teapots, confirming they met our standards for craftsmanship and materials. Only those that align with our criteria are recommended to our customers. The Zisha teapots we sell adhere to four principles: 1. Crafted using traditional Zisha teapot techniques. 2. Using raw materials free from chemical additives. 3. Accurately representing the clay type. 4. Truthfully stating the potter's title. Each Zisha teapot is accompanied by a 200x magnified photograph of the clay, allowing customers to clearly see the true appearance and texture of the Zisha.
