As I walk the final stretch of life's journey, What truly matters most in this existence? When I see you, I always hold your hand, feeling the gentle pressure as you squeeze mine back. I call out to you, "Grandma!" Sometimes your spirit wanders in other realms, And sometimes you open your small eyes to respond. Each time, before I call, I find myself wondering, Is your soul present with us today? Gazing at you like this, I realize, That I am still capable of loving someone so deeply, A feeling that moves me profoundly. Perhaps, to define a life as complete, It is to be surrounded by love, both within and around, before departure. The paper used is my favorite muffin paper. **Note:** Each piece is hand-cut, so sizes may vary, preserving the warmth of craftsmanship!
