This one-of-a-kind piece is hand-sewn from vintage KIMONO fabric. **ALL HAND-SEWN** This pullover has a simple square-shaped silhouette with a vertical piece of KIMONO fabric. A generous amount of fabric was used to create a loose width. A deep V-neckline is lined with soft cloth. Wool KIMONO fabric, flowers, and leaves on dark blue Light blue-gray cotton fabric is lined on the neckline. My items are easy to upcycle, as they return to a square piece of cloth when unraveled (unsew). Such treatment of KIMONO is the very spirit of the Japanese, which I want to carry on. The KIMONO fabrics I use were given to me by old friends and fans of my work, or found at thrift stores. ------- **ALL hand-sewn** Hand-stitches are suitable for old KIMONOs with soft weaves. You will enjoy the soft texture and silhouette that only hand-sewing can produce. All items are sewn by the artist alone. A tag with the material and the artist's signature is sewn onto the back. It can be easily removed and you can take it off if you like when you wear it. [About care] KIMONO fabrics are delicate and prone to color fading, color migration, and shrinkage. Dry cleaning is generally recommended. You can try the attached scrap to wash it at home.
