《BERO》 by Yamabatosha / Picture Book

Following its exhibition at Shianri Bookstore, Yamabatosha's BERO exhibition, originally from Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan, moves to Artqpie Library in Taichung. This new iteration features a fresh curation, with content developed by Let's Zine, resulting in a newly printed and published zine. "BERO" translates to "tongue" in Japanese. The artist, Chika Miyagi, is inspired by amusing animal photographs, particularly their endearing habit of inadvertently sticking out their tongues. Chika shares, "When I'm in a state of quiet contemplation, I find myself drawing animals imbued with this relaxed spirit. My sincere hope is that my work can offer a sense of healing to people; may it bring you much joy and a radiant smile."
