Our primary products include scissors for office use, cooking, industrial applications, and fabric cutting, as well as custom-made scissors, letter openers, and other OEM products tailored to specific customer needs. The City of Blades - Seki City, Gifu Prefecture
In the late Kamakura and early Muromachi periods, the renowned swordsmith Motoshige moved from Kyushu to Seki City, marking the beginning of Seki's 800-year history of blade making.
With abundant "pine charcoal," high-quality "yakibatsuchi" (quenching clay) for cooling, and the clear waters of the Nagara and Tsumi Rivers, Seki City attracted numerous swordsmiths, laying the foundation for its status as Japan's premier cutlery production center. Furthermore, Seki blades possess significant artistic value, renowned for their "hard texture that won't break or bend, with exceptionally sharp edges that cut effortlessly," achieved through a unique forging method known as "Seki-den."
This tradition of Seki blade forging craftsmanship and spirit has been passed down through generations, establishing Seki as one of the world's three major cutlery production centers.
These everyday items are not only indispensable tools but also significant works of art that command attention.
Whether used as tools or displayed as collectibles, we believe they will bring greater comfort and joy to our lives. Sharing this joy is even better, making them ideal gifts for friends and family to express your appreciation.
