Last year, we spent most of our time in the city due to the pandemic, which made us look forward to this summer even more. We wanted a bag that's perfect for the beach but also suitable for everyday use. It needed to be spacious enough to hold a beach towel, a change of clothes, snacks, and drinks. The straps should be long enough so things don't feel cumbersome when carrying a lot, and it would be great if it could also be hand-carried. We envisioned a bag that captures the relaxed, leisurely vibe of a getaway without being overtly "vacation-style," so it wouldn't look out of place for daily wear. Most importantly, it had to be stylish (laughs). And so, this bag was created to fulfill our personal desires >>> The Ada Beach Bag Set. *Generous capacity to fit a beach towel. *Dual-use design: can be worn on the shoulder or carried by hand. *5cm wide, long shoulder strap. *A small D-ring inside the bag opening for attaching keys or transit cards. *Matching large cosmetic bag from the same series for easy organization. *Simple, bold slogan design with hand-printed details. “ Carpe diem, quam minimum credola postero.“ This Latin phrase translates to "Seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the future." In the past, such philosophies felt distant. However, the changes the world has experienced over the last two years have made us realize how close these ideas truly are. While some translations render this phrase as "enjoy yourself while you can," we believe the most fitting interpretation is to "live in the present." It's about not dwelling too much on the beautiful past that is no more, nor expecting that unfinished tasks from today will magically resolve themselves tomorrow. Living each day to the fullest, seizing every moment, every present instant, and every opportunity is how we move towards our ideal future. Therefore, being true to ourselves in the present moment is what "Carpe diem" truly means. We hope everyone carrying an Ada bag can embrace their own "Carpe diem."
