Jens Quistgaard is a Danish sculptor and designer who was known for his work at the American company Dansk Designs at the invitation of Ted Nierenberg and has served as the chief designer for 30 years. In addition, the "Dansk Kobenstyle" pot series, which is still very popular until now, was designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1954!
The Relief collection is matte glazed with a calm yellow ochre and leaf relief, while the glaze is colored bit by bit, so the shades of the color will be different. This collection is very distinctive and is considered a classic Danish design. The bright sea pine green designed in the middle of the plate is a unique feature of the dinner plate series!

- The Relief collection was born in 1959 and was designed by the designer Jens Quistgaard for the Kronjyden ceramics factory. After 1972, it was taken over by Bing & Grøndahl until it was acquired by Royel Copenhagen in 1987.
