【 Glaze Introduction 】
Our studio currently uses an electric kiln that simulates gas reduction firing.
The glaze colors offered to students are primarily our commonly used celadon glazes.
The "celadon" green is achieved with small amounts of iron.
We utilize local Tainan clay, personally collected, purified, and sieved, then mixed into glazes in varying proportions to create our own unique celadon glaze.
Celadon can sometimes appear blue, other times green, which is perhaps the charm of celadon, as the color of the piece is determined by the light.
