The maintenance oil is mainly animal fat, usually mink oil, which can be replaced by lanolin. 5. When oiling, use a cotton cloth or cotton pad to moisten a small amount of leather maintenance oil (mink oil), wipe it lightly in a circular motion, and let it stand for 2-3 hours after wiping. 6. If you accidentally get into water, take a dry cloth to soak up and dry it in the shade in a ventilated place. Do not blow with a hair dryer, as the leather oil will be lost. 7. If you accidentally get dirty, use a dry cloth to soak it dry; then use a cotton pad soaked in water to wring it out, and press the dirt off. 8. If it is mildly mildewed, wipe it off with a dry cloth first, then wipe it with 75% cleaning alcohol, and finally apply maintenance oil. 9.
