Chrysanthemum wood earns its name from the naturally flower-like patterns revealed in its cross-sections. However, a gentle stroll in the sun on a clear day is perfectly fine! ◆ Unless otherwise specified, all pieces are finished with natural coatings, the most environmentally friendly method that preserves the wood's original color and grain. Natural finishes may fade over time; reapplication is possible if needed. ◆ This piece is finished with tung oil. Bronze naturally oxidizes over time, developing a warm, antique patina. A polishing cloth is provided with bronze jewelry purchases; you may use it to restore shine to your preferred level (do not use the polishing cloth on plated components). ◆ If you prefer your metal components to remain consistently bright and untarnished, consider selecting pieces with sterling silver or plated components. ◆ If you have metal sensitivities or tend to sweat easily, we recommend trying other bronze jewelry first before deciding on bronze ear studs. ------ About the Wood: These pieces are crafted for normal use and wear. However, please avoid intentionally bending, twisting, or dropping them, as this can still cause damage. Wood grain and color are natural variations; color differences may occur due to screen and camera settings. About the Carving: Each piece is meticulously hand-carved using non-powered tools and finished with fine-grit sandpaper by myself. The surface may bear subtle tool marks, which are characteristic of this carving style. Please appreciate these marks as an integral part of the artwork.
