This unique chess set is made of 11 types of wood collected from 4 continents of our planet. The unique and inimitable authors design, which differs from classical chess, will not leave anyone indifferent. Each set is made manually, without the use of CNC machines. The endgrain chessboard has a levitating playing field. It seems to hover over the base of the board. The squares of the playing field have a chaotic pattern created by mixing different types of wood. Light squares are made of maple, ash, hornbeam. Dark squares have more types of wood . These are ovangkol, mahogany, black ash, African padauk, purpleheart, wenge, American walnut, zebrano. The frame of the board is made of ovangkol, which grows in African forests. Each figure of the set is hand-carved from the same material with a chaotic pattern. The massive chess box has an individual base for each piece and is made in the same style as the whole set. Equipped with an Italian-made combination lock. A total of 10 such sets will be made.
