Creative Inspiration: I've wanted to illustrate door gods for years. Every time I intended to create them around the New Year, they always slipped my mind. After the busy season passed and I finally remembered, I'd always regret it. This year, due to the pandemic, I was able to calm my mind and finally complete them. It would be too much to forget them again, haha. For the artwork, I deliberately chose to represent the door gods using the concept of traditional paper cutting. To achieve this, I borrowed several books from the library to research paper cutting techniques. I also used vibrant and colorful hues to bring the designs to life, allowing them to clash and merge. My hope is that when displayed in modern homes, they won't feel out of place but rather stylish and fun, bringing joy and also protecting your home. - Made in Taiwan Double-sided printing Approximate dimensions per sheet: 180 x 278 mm Material: 220gsm art paper (with a card-like texture) Hand-gilded by a master craftsman in Taiwan with over thirty years of experience. - ⚠ Please note that the couplets are produced and printed in separate batches.
