Developed by Dr. Carmen at the Royal College of Art in the UK, this material extracts fibers from pineapple leaves and processes them through waxing and embossing to achieve a texture reminiscent of genuine leather. It emphasizes a cruelty-free, low-carbon approach, replacing animal leather. It not only revitalizes idle agricultural pineapple leaves but also avoids generating toxic substances during production. At the end of its product lifecycle, the material is biodegradable and returns to nature, protecting the environment and our planet for future generations against climate change. Spanish Pinatex pineapple leaf leather meets EU environmental standards and is biodegradable at the end of its product lifecycle. 2. The surface of the pineapple leaf leather is water-repellent. 3. Leather goods are hand-stitched in Taiwan using waxed thread for robust durability, unlike machine stitching that can unravel and be difficult to repair. 4. The pineapple leaf leather A7 6-ring planner is very light, weighing approximately only 75 grams. 5. "Wegan Leather" offers a lifetime repair service. 6. For stains on the leather surface, use a clean, damp cloth to wipe it clean. After cleaning, allow the leather surface to dry. 7. Pineapple leaf leather can be conditioned with baby oil. Apply baby oil to a clean cloth before wiping the leather surface; do not apply baby oil directly to the leather surface. Please Note Before Ordering: 1.
