Embroidered patches are often called embroidered fabric stickers, fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliqués. However, most embroidered fabric patches require ironing to adhere them, typically to fabric materials, or to cover small holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing. They can be applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Let’s create something unique with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing is needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C (300°F). Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery from high heat. Iron for 20-25 seconds, moving back and forth. Allow it to cool completely for a secure bond. For extra durability, we recommend reinforcing with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, you can still achieve a secure attachment by sewing the patch onto fabric using a sewing machine or by hand. 🏷 What if I can't iron or am unsure about ironing the fabric? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you're uncertain about ironing, we suggest sewing the patch on using a sewing machine or by hand to prevent heat damage to your item. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive? Will it fall off easily? Our embroidered patches feature a strong adhesive backing that adheres well to most smooth, non-fabric surfaces and is not prone to falling off. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron it for a secure bond and reinforce with stitching for added durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with stitching, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing without easily falling off. We recommend washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is designed for single use and cannot be reapplied. Please decide on the placement before applying. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric itself can still be sewn onto fabric as a decorative element. 🏷 Will there be residue after removing the embroidered patches? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may remain after removal. This can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before using any cleaning agent, please check if it is suitable for your item's surface material to avoid damage. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive can melt with heat, becoming stickier and more difficult to remove.
