Whether it's Sodalite or Turquoise, stones purchased from JingJing will develop their color and character with wear. They won't become dull or discolored because we use untreated, raw ore. To elaborate, the accent beads in this set are rather special. They are not made of metal. Natural raw Turquoise is highly susceptible to color transfer. Contact with the oxidized layer of metal can cause the beads to turn gray. We searched extensively for the perfect alternative. ✔ It is normal for metal to darken over time; no jewelry is immune to fading. As long as there is oxygen present, oxidation will occur. No metal can completely avoid this natural process. Gold tarnishes, silver darkens, iron rusts – these are all manifestations of oxidation, a natural law that cannot be circumvented. Proper daily maintenance is key, which is why even the most precious metal jewelry can lose its luster over time. This is especially true in summer with increased perspiration; neglecting maintenance will accelerate the fading of alloy accessories. ✔ The lifespan of jewelry is linked to personal wear habits and does not have a fixed duration. ✔ When not wearing, store in a sealed bag to slow the oxidation process. If it begins to yellow, gently polish with a silver polishing cloth to restore its brilliance. ✔ If a silver polishing cloth is not available, a dry cloth with a dab of toothpaste can also be used for effective polishing. ✔ Silver cleaning solutions are highly corrosive and may damage the surface of silver jewelry, so their use is not recommended. ★ Crystal Purification Purification is essential for maintaining and enhancing energy. Crystals possess the ability to store and remember information, thus retaining not only positive energies but also residual negative impressions that could impact the wearer. The safest method is to properly purify crystals, allowing them to return to their original pure and simple energetic state for safe and worry-free use. ✔ Do not expose colored crystals to direct sunlight, as high temperatures may cause fading. ✔ If crystal items contain metal (most of our designs feature silver accents), do not immerse them in sea salt. ✔ The simplest purification method is to place them on a crystal cluster or geode for demagnetization and recharging. ★ Important Notes 1.
