The creation process involves preparing the clay, shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, all by hand, using a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel at my home studio. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique expression, allowing you to enjoy the subtle nuances that come from handmade craftsmanship. The item you receive will be the same as pictured. The base of the bowl has been sanded to minimize scratching your table surfaces. I explore various glaze and clay combinations, constantly seeking better pairings, and create a diverse range of pottery in various colors and shapes. For this reason, we apply a waterproof sealant for tableware to our products before shipping, so there is no need for initial seasoning (medome). As the sealant process requires 2-3 days, the shipping period is set to 5 days from the order date.
