Place the blade vertically at a 90-degree angle into the sharpener. Hold the handle and pull towards yourself to sharpen (do not saw back and forth). 2. Coarse Sharpening: Start with the tungsten steel (black) slot, sharpening 10 times. 3. Fine Sharpening: Follow with the ceramic (white) slot for fine sharpening, 10 times. 4. Sharpening in this order will restore your blade to like-new sharpness. ※ Adjust the number of sharpening passes based on the dullness of the blade and its material. You can use 10 passes as a base unit and repeat the process until the desired sharpness is achieved. 5.
