Bangle "There is death in peace"

This is a conceptual art bangle. The piece features the phrase "平死和" (Heishiwa), which translates to "Peace in Death." Following the assassination of Shinzo Abe in 2022, a calligraphy work was presented at the Mitaka Arts and Culture Center. It carries the message: "Even within a world that seems peaceful, there is much unseen death, forgotten death, and visible death, and I am living amidst it all. While alive, we are busy and rarely contemplate death. Let us contemplate death, and in turn, contemplate life."
