It is also characterized by its white color and silk-like luster. The COCOCOCO Organic Cotton & Linen (Ramie) Border fabric is meticulously woven by our artisans in Shiga Prefecture. Using Supima organic cotton, this fabric is supple and lustrous, finished with a very lightweight weave of an 80/- fine count. The weft yarns are strongly twisted, creating a crisp texture and a fine crinkled surface that allows for excellent air circulation and keeps the fabric away from the skin. This makes it comfortable to wear even in the hot summer months. The fabric utilizes the natural properties of the materials: the twisted cotton shrinks, while the ramie has no stretch, resulting in a seersucker-like texture. The ecru base is beautifully contrasted by the pure white of the ramie, creating a striking finish. *The fabric used has obtained organic cotton certification from Avantie Inc. *When washing, please use a laundry net and select a gentle cycle or hand wash.
