▰▰▰▰▰▰ PANETTA ▰▰▰▰▰▰ Benedetto Panetta, a former designer at Trifari, began his jewelry career after immigrating to the United States from Italy in the early 20th century. Before joining Trifari, he worked for a small jewelry company. Later, through a benefactor also from Italy, he became a designer at Trifari, accumulating rich experience in the industry. In 1945, Benedetto Panetta founded his eponymous company, "Panetta," positioning its products between fine jewelry and costume jewelry, aiming to blur the lines. The company crafted exquisite-looking alloy pieces through artisanal techniques. During the mid-20th century, a period when fashion jewelry flourished, Panetta's creations were beloved by many celebrities, with even a First Lady seen wearing their pieces. Benedetto passed away in 1960, and the company was managed by his two sons, Amadeo and Armand.
