Illustrated Postcard - Deep Blue

/ Illustrated creations inspired by words / The summer in this seaside town is blue – the sky, the leaves on the trees and their shadows, and of course, the sea, which must be blue. The stray cats here live as if they are never alarmed, constantly moving from one end of the road to the other. The word "shuttling" takes on another meaning in the feline world, representing the security of having a home. I moved to this town. Boarding the train, the cityscapes were left behind faster than I imagined. After just a few dark tunnels, I arrived at the outskirts. The weather today was gloomy, with layers of clouds lingering by the mountains, reminding me of my own hesitant and fearful self. At the most vulnerable moment of the journey, I was forced to look directly at myself: I must face my own journey, and I must handle my own pain. The stray cats in the blue town need to learn to accept everything, embrace everything, and face things with honesty to become a little more fearless. To realize that no one is obligated to help you or be kind to you, but you must never stop thinking – that's how you disappear. Thinking is for self-protection. Material: 350gsm thick ivory card.
