In the early 1920s, the first-generation owner, Ye A-Tian, founded "Ye A-Tian Blacksmith Shop," producing "agricultural knives" using traditional handcrafted methods. The sickles, hoes, and pruning shears produced at the time were household names and marked the very beginnings of Ye Tian knife making.
In 1980, the fourth generation took over and began producing household kitchen knives, extensively incorporating Japanese composite steel technology into their kitchen knife production. They transitioned into an OEM factory for major brands, producing knives for various knife and scissor brands across Taiwan.
In 1990, the company was renamed "Ye Tian Knife Manufacturing Co., Ltd." To this day, after a century, "Ye Tian" continues to focus on creating knives suitable for Taiwanese people.
