It's easy to care for and will usually maintain its golden shine for a lifetime because a gold alloy is bonded to one or both surfaces of the core metal with heat and pressure. I use double clad one(gold alloy is bonded to both surfaces). Gold-filled is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 gold by weight, whereas gold-plated has to have 0.05%. ✴︎✴︎Please note that since all pieces are hand made and using natural materials, slight variations in color and shape are to be expected. ✴︎✴︎Photos were taken using only sunlight as the lighting source and I try to shoot as close as possible to the real image, but color could be slightly different depends on your computer screen. ✴︎✴︎All pieces are designed and handcrafted in my home studio.
