Mokume Gane, originally a technique integral to Japanese sword crafting over 400 years ago, is achieved by layering and fusing different metals through soldering. Through repetitive steps of annealing, forging, twisting, filing, drilling, and rolling, the metal surface develops rich textural variations due to color differences and the aforementioned crafting methods. Each piece's pattern is utterly unique. It is often treasured as a special craft collectible or a wedding ring in Japan, as well as in Europe and America. For example, 16.5mm. Method 2: Visit a jeweler to have your "international ring size" measured and inform us of the number or inner diameter in mm. Method 3: Wrap wire around your finger to a comfortable fit, then straighten and measure the wire's length. Method 4: Tightly wrap a measuring tape or cloth tape around the base of your finger and note the measurement. Method 5: Cut a strip of paper, wrap it snugly around the base of your finger, then unfold and measure its length. For example, 6.85 cm (this method may be prone to measurement errors). Method 6: Visit our studio to have your ring size measured directly (this is, of course, the most accurate).
