Brass oxidizes and turn black when in contact with sweat, grease and chemicals ( e.g. perfume, cosmetics, alcohol), We recomend you wipe it clean before putting them away. If the brass parts tarnish, simply use jewelry cleaning cloth to gently polish the blackened parts, it will regain its shine in no time. 2.
