Ukraine trypillia brass necklace pendant - Trypila female figure. The cucuteni trypillia female figurines is based on ceramic figurines of Trypillia people who lived on the territory of Ukraine in the 6th-3rd millennia before Christmas. The people of Trypillia have bequeathed us many small female figurines. They depicted fertility goddesses naked and applied special symbolic signs to their bodies. Often, a double spiral was drawn in place of the breasts of the goddesses. On the stomach or on the bosom was drawn a rhombus crossed into four parts. One grain of bread was pressed into each cell. The chest spiral is a heavenly symbol: the cloud is lightning that sends milk-family-rain to earth. A rhombus with cereals represents a plowed and sown field. It is also the fertile place of the goddess, the fruit in her womb. The combination of both symbols means the marriage of the elements of Heaven and Earth. In addition, oblique and spiral scratches were made on the hips, sides and buttocks of all the Tryplian figurines. They express the symbol of protection of fertility.
