Its surface has a warm, frosted luster that will gradually brighten with wear, developing a patina.** The production method involves repeatedly grinding fine cinnabar particles into a paste, mixing it with water, allowing it to settle, and then collecting the "turbid liquid" from the top. This is then left to precipitate again (the water-grinding purification process). The resulting cinnabar mud is air-dried and then compressed using ancient methods. Fine, shimmering mineral particles can still be seen in its internal cross-section. **「Emperor Cinnabar」** **The color leans towards a pure red, with a brighter hue and higher hardness.** Its production method involves progressively purifying natural cinnabar ore through multiple stages, including **crushing/grinding/magnetic separation/water-grinding/high polishing**, followed by ancient compression methods. Emperor cinnabar has almost no visible mineral shimmer on the surface, but it is present internally.
