This business card holder opens and closes with a two-part hinge crafted solely from leather and thread. The generous use of Tochigi leather results in a satisfying thickness and rounded edges (the "koba," or cut edges of the leather). The distinctive leather hinge is the result of our proprietary research and crafting method. It involves intricate cutting and shaping, followed by meticulous filing of each individual tooth to ensure a precise fit. The exterior is in brown, while the interior is natural. This is a bi-color design, combining two shades of leather. The brown features a lustrous aniline finish, while the natural is a soft, uncolored vegetable-tanned leather. Both are made from vegetable-tanned leather, renowned for developing the most beautiful patina over time. There are four pockets. Inside, in addition to a gusseted pocket for your own business cards, there are two more. An additional versatile pocket is located on the exterior. Please avoid water exposure, as it can cause stains. If water does get on the leather, gently dampen the entire surface with a soft towel or sponge to help prevent spotting. No special care products like leather creams or oils are needed. Dust can be brushed away. Unlike shoes or bags, this card holder does not experience the stress of constant use or bending at hinges, so the natural oils from your fingertips are sufficient for its upkeep.
