1890s UK Art Nouveau Large Engraved Sterling Silver Locket

This locket from the Art Nouveau period in 19th century Britain is crafted from sterling silver with a glass locket compartment. The locket is impressively sized, with full cloud-pattern engraving on the sterling silver frame extending to the bail, showcasing exquisite design detail and the fluid, soft style of the Art Nouveau era, with perfectly aligned patterns on both sides. There is ample space inside the locket to hold slightly thicker mementos or a glass pearl, like the one shown, for a charming, bubble-like visual effect. The piece is in good antique condition, showing normal patina and signs of wear. There is a small 3mm chip on the exterior of the glass compartment.
