The "Ink Creations, Ink Forms, 'Non'-Calligraphy: Contemporaneity of East Asian Calligraphy" International Academic Forum was held alongside the "Flying Ink Across Mountains: Yokohoma Calligraphy Art Museum Inaugural Exhibition." Researcher Tsai Yao-Ching from the National Museum of History explores the boundaries of Chinese character art. Associate Professor Lee Chien-Te of Fo Guang University presents findings from a questionnaire survey on the backgrounds and creative concepts of calligraphy artists. Assistant Professor Lin Chun-Chen from National Tainan University attempts to address the dilemmas within the modern calligraphy context from a meta-perspective.
