【About the Artist】Lao Wu Yan
Since 2013, Lao Wu Yan has been dedicated to documenting the charm of old houses shaped by time. Through the architectural details, they celebrate the beauty of bygone eras preserved in the traces of years. Engaging in conversations with locals, they've realized that old houses are more than just "objects"; they are vital spaces where family emotions converge. Thus, through imagery and text, they began collecting classic elements like wrought iron window grilles, cement tiles, and mosaic tiles, while recording the architectural styles and the stories of residents from different eras.
