The ceramic materials used in our studio are lead-free glazes, fired at temperatures above 1200°C, making them safe and non-toxic for your peace of mind. 3. During the firing process, variations in glaze texture are natural. Phenomena such as crazing, ice cracking, glaze crawling, and minor pinholes are considered normal. 4. Product photos are taken in natural light, with efforts made to minimize discrepancies between the images and the actual glaze colors. However, variations may occur due to screen color differences across devices. The actual product is the standard. 5. Each piece is handcrafted, leading to slight variations in dimensions. The clay and glaze colors can differ due to kiln atmosphere and temperature fluctuations, which are part of the charm and character of handmade ceramics. Those with a preference for absolute perfection are encouraged to review product details carefully before purchase. | Pre-use Care & Maintenance | 1. It is not recommended to place stoneware in electric steamers, microwaves, ovens, or over direct heat. Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent cracking or damage, unless the item is made from fireclay (refractory clay) specifically designed for such use. 2. If the ceramic ware is to be used as tableware, rinse and clean off any surface dirt before the first use. For cleaning, use a sponge or a soft scouring pad with a neutral detergent. Avoid using abrasive materials like steel wool, which can scratch the surface. Finally, wipe dry with a cloth and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area to prevent mold. 3. Hot water and food can be safely used. The glaze surface may develop fine cracks over time with exposure to heat and cooling, which is a normal phenomenon. Each trace of use will be absorbed by the pottery, gradually imbuing the piece with the warmth of the user's daily life, reflected in its color and texture. 4. Matte glazes are more prone to tea stains and dark food marks compared to glossy glazes. Crazed areas may also accumulate tea and coffee stains; these are records of use. Products like baking soda, citric acid, or magic sponges can be used for cleaning. This will not affect usability. To minimize residue, soak the item in water or wash it immediately after use. 5.
