Through our own use, we slowly explored, adjusted bit by bit, and created a simple form with a little thoughtful detail. It perfectly cradles a bar of soap and just as perfectly allows water to drain away. Not flashy, but truly functional. We chose clay, a type of mud with slightly coarse particles. The resulting pieces are not as refined as porcelain, but they possess a natural simplicity and honesty that you can feel with your touch and see with your eyes. The surface may have some specks of color, pinholes, or small glaze cracks; these are not flaws, but natural characteristics formed during the firing process. ❍ Material Clay, glaze ❍ Dimensions The soap dish is specifically designed for handmade soaps, measuring approximately 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm. Its size is just right, allowing soaps to rest securely and making it easy to use. (Each piece is handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly.) ❍ Craftsmanship Details Each piece is fired at high temperatures twice, ensuring durability. Occasional pinholes, natural glaze variations, or fine crack lines on the surface are characteristics naturally formed by the clay material and the firing process. As each piece is handcrafted, the curvature and glaze distribution will vary slightly, which is part of its unique character. ❍ Packaging and Sustainability All our shipments are packaged using recycled bubble wrap and cardboard boxes.
