Its color shifts from yellow to green when exposed to sunlight, accompanied by a pleasant aroma, earning it the name Jade Sandalwood. It thrives in environments with drastic climate changes, enduring temperatures from below zero to 40 degrees Celsius seasonally. Currently a scarce material, it faces the threat of endangerment, and Paraguay has restricted its export. Green Sandalwood is exceptionally hard, making it slower and more demanding on tools to work with. If left out of the sun for extended periods, its color will revert from green to yellow.
