【2023 Calendar | Thank you for entering my scenery】 This year has passed sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly, sometimes noisy, sometimes quiet, life's rhythm always goes off track. When the body and mind are tired, seeing a painting or a sentence can bring a little comfort. So I wanted to create such a painting. Within the circle, is the start of each day. Drawing one circle a day, like keeping a diary, recording the day's story with a drawing, and then feeling relaxed. This circle, is completed in stolen moments that don't seem to belong to me, conceived quietly while feeding, accompanying to sleep, washing dishes, hanging laundry, going to the toilet, eating, or brushing teeth. While the child naps, I draw it bit by bit. When I forget who I am, thank you for entering my scenery. The traveler returning home opens the door to see their favorite view: a mother holding a sleeping child, a tranquil sea, and the scenery of my city. There's also a warm cup of tea, sweet cookies, a roll of cloth, a bowl of herbs, a kiss. The cat from Xi Xi's poetry collection curls up on a carpet with a flying carpet pattern. Sitting on a bookshelf stool, writing a letter to a friend I miss, decorating it with a pair of miniature stamps. Drawers hide standing books, talking flowers, and sunrises peeking through window frames. In 2023, I long for peace and contentment, reading scattered books, drawing, sipping tea, holding my child, and awaiting the return of loved ones. I've painted all my favorite scenes, and now I invite you to step into them too.
