Stitching together, I immediately thought of Baina quilts. In the early agricultural society, there was a custom of making Baina quilts. When there was a child in the family at the full moon, relatives and friends would send a piece of cloth the size of a palm, and the child’s mother would sew these pieces of cloth. Embellish it, and then make clothes or quilts for the child, which means that the child will grow up wearing clothes and quilts from different families, and will become easy to raise and not delicate. I use this dotted line to represent the bricks on the outer wall, and it also symbolizes a space for a new start, which has received everyone's blessings. The birth of a building is to look forward to the meeting of people. An old department store has accepted people and things from all walks of life. The traces of my hands are a symbol of meeting and reunion. I look forward to what has happened in the past and what will happen in the future.
