Course Syllabus:
I. History and development of the instrument.
II. Hands-on playing experience:
1. Basic posture: Seating and holding the instrument.
2. How to read music: Numbered notation and staff notation.
3. Basic techniques: Bowing with the right hand and fingering with the left hand.
III. Learn and perform two musical pieces.
IV. How to make informed instrument purchases:
1. Understanding instrument construction.
2. Understanding basic instrument maintenance.
3. Essential tips for purchasing.

Class Information
Class size: Minimum 3 people to start, maximum 10 people.
Duration: 1 hour.

2. As the instructor prepares instruments and music scores in advance, a 30% handling fee will be charged for cancellations due to personal reasons. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days of the event.
3. If you need to reschedule, please contact 'Teacher Yen's Erhu and Piano Music Garden' for assistance. Rescheduling is not permitted on the day of the event.
4. If a class does not meet the minimum enrollment, the studio reserves the right to cancel the session. We will notify you 3 to 5 days in advance to offer a reschedule or a full refund.
5. Doors open 10 minutes before the session starts. To ensure the smooth running of the event, please arrive on time. Entry is not permitted for arrivals more than 30 minutes late, and no refunds will be provided in such cases.
6. Participation is limited to ticket holders only. Non-ticket holders may not join the experience.
7. In the event of force majeure, such as natural disasters, we will proactively contact you to arrange a rescheduling or refund.
8. Photos or videos may be taken during the event as needed and shared on the 'Teacher Yen's Erhu and Piano Music Garden' social media channels for event documentation or promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us in advance so we can make special arrangements.
9. As our instructors are industry professionals whose schedules are arranged well in advance, no makeup sessions will be provided for unexplained absences.
