Even the Cantonese, who are known for their hard work, have a "tradition" of laziness. In the old society, when the shoe-shining industry still existed, the status of the employees was so low that they were treated like puppies in front of customers. Although they worked hard and diligently most of the time because they had no choice but to survive, don't think that this silent majority can be trampled on by others. They also have their own set of shoe-shining techniques for dealing with the upper class and the lower class. Sometimes they hold up the newspaper and turn a blind eye, and sometimes they throw down their shoe boxes, spread out their big hand boards, and learn to be lazy. A guest is a guest, and he cannot afford to offend him. Even if he is scolded, he cannot use the five-character curse "𨳒𨳊𨶙𨳍閪." (It is also written as 匌㞗卻淒屄. Some say that the original character of "卻" should come from the part of the character for corpse, with "粦" added inside; some say that the original character of "淒" should be "上山下十". Some say it refers to the scrotum, and some say it refers to the penis.) - Everyone knows how to clean shoes, but some people know how to clean them but are lazy. To live a good life, you must live a good life first. Especially in this situation, there are some people you cannot give your middle finger to, and even giving your ring finger from a distance is considered an explanation.
