As the Qingming festival approaches, the news about ancestor worship often prompts deep reflection on personal views of life and death.
Tsuchion focuses its metalworking rituals on the design of ceremonial objects for Qingming ancestor worship. Traditional ceremonial vessels in Taiwan are crafted from tin, and the word for "tin" (xi) also carries the meaning of "cherishing" (xi) blessings. In this ritual experience, we guide participants through the selection of materials to create cast-tin incense holders or vases with unique textures.
After a life has departed,
each stick of incense and each flower offered annually carries our thoughts.
As memories settle slowly over time, allowing sighs to dissipate through the years,
what more can we do for them?
Here, we accompany you from the very beginning,
translating emotions through the heart and hands,
revisiting the past, processing emotions, expressing blessings, and feeling life,
healing our journeys together.
