If cosmos is constantly flowing, then where is the change when we are attached to the illusion of permanence? ================ About this Series: Handwritten Coffee Cup This is a project inspired by the cafes in Taipei, which has a rich tapestry of coffee culture. The idea is to celebrate the art of handwriting, like doodling or jotting down notes on a notebook in a cafe. Since texting has mostly replaced handwriting, we’d like to bring back the art of handwriting and handmade drawings. Enjoy your coffee In this series of drawings I explore gesture through lines created by ink. The original drawings are created using dip pen on photo paper. I am interested in the narrative power of gesture, like the way a storyteller uses their hand gestures.
