Our journey began with a deep respect for Mother Earth, aiming to introduce the natural, raw colors of cotton yarn to everyone. While the off-white hue is comforting, the world of vibrant colors is truly captivating. To stay true to our original intention of dyeing while cherishing the environment, we were fortunate to discover Japanese mineral dyeing in 2020. This method allows us to achieve a diverse range of colors in an incredibly eco-friendly way, with excellent washfastness. We then began experimenting with adding color to our undyed pure cotton garments, finding immense joy and connection in the process. Venturing beyond our small island, we arrived in Thailand, a country vast and brimming with creativity. It felt like a United Nations, with people from countless nations living together. Through discussions on environmental issues, we connected with friends and realized how wonderful Taiwan is, with its environmental efforts at the forefront globally. Thailand, too, is commendable, having already promoted "eco-friendly fashion" by encouraging the development and design of unbleached and undyed clothing, as the dyeing industry is the world's second-largest polluter. Just as people are encouraged to eat whole, natural foods for health, have you ever seen the "original form" of pure cotton clothing?
