"Sea Ripples" attempts to view and express oceanic impressions and culture from a modern perspective, extending the interpretation of maritime culture through everyday items. Surrounded by the sea, Taiwan has accumulated profound maritime culture over the ages. Beginning with the origins of Austronesian peoples, the Formosa described by Westerners during the Age of Discovery, the stories of crossing the strait from Tangshan, the traces left by different peoples who arrived and departed through time, to the homeland we inhabit today.
