Therefore, even items within the same series cannot be identical. ◆ The crackles in ceramic products are formed during the firing process. Coupled with the natural porous nature of the clay, if frequently used for dark tea for extended periods, the tea's color will naturally seep into the cracks, deepening their texture and forming a unique work. If you prefer to avoid this color change, for light-colored pieces or before first use, we recommend soaking the item in rice water and heating gently over low heat for 20-30 minutes. This allows the starch to fill the pores, reducing discoloration. ◆ You may notice some white spots on the bottom of the ceramic pieces. This is the ceramic clay used to support the base during firing. Upon removal from the mold, some clay may adhere to the bottom. Product photos show the item in its original state.
