🧵 Class Introduction:
This class begins with "pattern drafting."
You will personally draw your own bag pattern, learning how to set dimensions, seam allowances, and body proportions, truly understanding bag construction rather than just following existing patterns.
Next, we will guide you through fabric cutting, setting the grainline direction, learning interlining techniques and identification, and choosing whether to add batting based on your preference, giving the bag more structure or a soft, voluminous feel.
Finally, we enter the sewing process: three-dimensional corner folding, flap construction, edge finishing, embellishments, and completion.
Each student will finish a custom-sized flap bag with three-dimensional corners, practical and timeless, which can also serve as a gift.
