However, the first branded jewelry was not "CORO" but "CR," named from the first two letters of each partner's surname. Sadly, Emanuel Cohn passed away in 1910, but the name remained Cohn and Rosenberger (CR). Meanwhile, by the mid-1920s, the "Coro" company had become the largest jewelry producer on the continent. In 1937, the company began marking more upscale "Coro Craft" products. It's notable that Coro had several subsidiary companies. Notably, Francois – intended for marketing, promoting better and more expensive jewelry lines. This brand produced jewelry between 1944 and 1960. Another "daughter" company – "Vendome" produced high-end jewelry from 1944 to 1979. After World War II, trademarks included "Corocraft," "Coro Pegasus," and "Coro Originals."
