The infusion of Taiwanese pineapple, orange, and roselle brings forth the fragrant, refreshing, sweet, and tart notes of tropical fruits – the taste of summer sunshine. These elements add layers to the traditional mulled wine spices, achieving a moderate sweetness and a subtly balanced acidity that will keep you and your loved ones coming back for more. **How to Use |** Prepare the CATTEA® Mulled Wine Spice Mix and 750ml of red wine (we recommend a wine with low tannins, rich fruitiness, and low acidity). For an alcohol-free version, substitute red wine with apple or grape juice to create non-alcoholic mulled wine. 1. Place the dried orange, dried pineapple, and brown sugar in a pot. Add 1/4 bottle of red wine and simmer over medium-low heat until the brown sugar is completely dissolved. (You can add orange juice to taste). 2. Add the cinnamon stick, nutmeg, star anise, and cloves. Simmer over low heat for 2 minutes. (Ginger slices can be added according to preference). 3. Pour in the remaining 3/4 of the red wine, add the bay leaf and roselle, stir well to infuse. 4. Cover the pot and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes until it boils. 5. Turn off the heat, let it sit for 2 minutes, and then enjoy your French Tropical Mulled Wine.
