For the first wash, please use a neutral detergent and wash thoroughly several times. You may also use a paper towel dipped in food-grade oil to wipe it down repeatedly; this easily removes any residual gray titanium powder from the manufacturing process. Afterward, wash with neutral detergent. As we use food-grade oil for stamping and do not perform acid pickling, some residual gray titanium powder is inevitable. This is a non-toxic pure titanium manufacturing process, so it is safe to clean. 2. If there is burnt residue or stubborn grime, you may gently scrub with the rough side of a sponge or a soft steel wool brush. 3. If any colored surface areas are scrubbed off or reveal the original color, rest assured that since it is not a coating, the pure titanium remains safe, non-toxic, and free of heavy metals. It is safe to scrub. 4. Please do not soak in acidic reducing agents or sodium percarbonate cleaners such as stain remover powders or hydrogen peroxide, as these will permanently strip the titanium of its color and luster. 【Characteristic Notes】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and stress release is complex. If bento boxes, containers, or square pans develop food stains, large blue-purple patches after boiling/steaming, or brown patches after washing (even without heating), please note these are characteristic of the metal or the result of our pre-firing process. Large flat surfaces are more susceptible to deformation when exposed to direct gas flames. 5. Pure titanium tends to show water stains; if this is a concern, please dry immediately after washing to maintain visual appearance. 【Appliance Compatibility】 Single-layer titanium tableware can be heated; double-layer items are not suitable for heating. Dish Dryer: Suitable. If oily residues like olive oil are not washed off, blue-purple powder may appear during drying; this is just dried oil and will disappear once cleaned. Dishwasher: Suitable.
