We've created this set with the hope that even those who don't typically wear brooches can easily enjoy the gardenia brooch, and that it might inspire them to embrace brooches. The necklace boasts a vibrant light blue, reminiscent of Swiss Blue Topaz. Smooth round beads and faceted round beads are alternated along the strands. The gardenia brooch is accented with colors that evoke the refreshing taste of Blue Hawaii syrup shaved ice. The shorter strand of the necklace measures approximately 38cm, including the clasp, for a slightly shorter fit. Two attachment points for the brooch have been incorporated along the necklace. A small circular motif, crafted using the chainmail technique of interlocking jump rings, is featured. This metallic accent is designed to blend seamlessly, appearing as a natural embellishment when the necklace is worn on its own. The clasp is set with "Tsuyukusa-iro" (dayflower blue) of Kyocera's man-made gemstone, "Kyoto Opal." The clasp itself is designed to be a statement piece. When wearing the necklace alone, you can also enjoy turning the clasp to the front for a unique look (as shown in image 9). Should you wish to attach a different brooch, one of similar or lighter weight than the gardenia brooch, and of a suitable size, you can do so. This applies even to brooches from other shops or brands...! It might even be possible to give new life to a cherished brooch from your mother or grandmother that you found difficult to style. Please adjust the position of the clasp, shifting it slightly from the center back of the neck to the left or right, to ensure the brooch sits in a flattering position for you. Furthermore...! This necklace can also be worn as a single, long necklace of 77cm by detaching the clasp and spreading the two strands apart. Turn the receiving end of the clasp towards the back and wear the insertion end at the front. At first glance, the insertion end might appear like a pendant top when worn this way... but this is where you can attach the brooch. The brooch will elegantly draw attention to the vertical line of the long necklace, serving as a beautiful pendant. With the ability to attach and remove the brooch, this necklace offers two or three distinct styling possibilities. By impregnating the material with resin, it achieves greater durability than natural opal and allows for a variety of colors not found in nature. The play-of-color differs from that of natural opals.
