spring summer 2025 “We stayed one night in the supermarket” As dusk settled, the supermarket lights softened, transforming it into a vast, quiet room. Pushing our shopping cart, we wandered through the spacious aisles, with no destination in mind, only a spirit of exploration. This night wasn't for shopping, but for living. We laid out air mattresses and sprawled out, feeling as if we were camping. The space became boundless, and the lines of the everyday blurred. The clothes on the racks weren't just merchandise, but an impromptu dress-up game. Trying on various styles, each turn revealed a new version of ourselves. Hungry? We opened packages and took bites of snacks we'd usually save, the flavors tasting remarkably liberated, like breaking some unspoken rule. Each item on the shelves had its designated place, marked by price, categorized, and assigned a value. But tonight, we peeled off the labels, or chose to keep them, simply because we wanted to-------- This is the true way of owning. In this immense room, we paused wherever we pleased, guided by impulse.
